The Internet: He cites numerous publications that help a company create an attractive website. “But how many of them help a business, step-by-step learn how to use a search engine to generate leads as a source to increase business?” Recent statistics show a majority of website visits are attributed to searches, underscoring the importance of growing companies’ need to embrace this marketing tool. Increasingly, buyers are finding sellers using search engines. To support this fact, Lipe cites his own marketing firm’s success using search engines. In the first year his firm used the book’s basic search engine techniques, it acquired a new client worth over $25,000 in sales. “That’s a return on investment (ROI) of over 1,700% - a return any business would die for these days,” says Lipe.


Dig up a plan.Marketing Plans: Through his work with hundreds of growing companies, Lipe has discovered a Marketing Plan can be one of the most powerful tools a company employs. “A good plan,” according to Lipe, “contains strategic thinking behind a company’s actions.
